Our collection of popular fiction and non-fiction includes bestsellers, classics, and other high quality, up-to-date books. We are also available to assist you with locating items in the library, accessing digital items, or requesting an item via interlibrary loan. Library staff have extensive knowledge of the collection, interlibrary loan, digital resources, and training in research methods and information needs.

Library staff are also available to assist you with research for work, college and school. You can speak with a staff member during regular library hours or make an appointment with the librarian to discuss your research needs. While JCPL does not maintain a large collection of academic or reference books, we have relationships with academic libraries across the country, and can often have books delivered for free via interlibrary loan. 

Library staff often assist patrons with sensitive and specialized research requests. Your library records and your interactions with library staff are confidential and protected by Florida law.
