The library is accepting applictions for a part-time library assistant. 

Job openings at the library are advertised on social media and the local newspapers, the Monticello News and the Jefferson Journal. Library employees are typically expected to have retail or customer service experience, a high school or college degree, IT skills, and some experience or background in libraries. All library employees must pass a Level II background check. A career in libraries often requires an advanced education.
