Are you a representative of a government, nonprofit or social services agency? The library is a great place to reach Jefferson County and Monticello citizens. Contact us or call 850-342-0205.

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) has a social worker available at the library on Mondays to help with applications for food stamps, temporary cash (welfare), Medicaid and Elder Services. You do not need to have a child to take advantage of this service.

Career Source North Florida provides career training, job placement services and other job-related services at the library on Wednesdays. For help finding a job, please visit us.

The Jefferson County Health Department provides free health checks (blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc) at the library periodically. For more information, contact the Health Department.

We partner with the Jefferson County Elementary School (JCES) to ensure that all Jefferson County children have access to storytime, summer reading activities and library and media skills training.

The Jefferson County Solid Waste Department helps us recycle discarded books that are not suitable for resale or donation.

The Monticello Police Department helps with library security and provides safety training for library staff.
